Magna Pool? Beneficial or not?

We are in need of replacing our salt water pool bits and pieces. I have stumbled across this magna pool system.

I have limited understanding of magnesium and was wondering if someone more knowledgeable may have a look and let me know what they think?

Is it all hype and just a money grabber or is there something in it?

The costs for me will be double to change from salt to magna pool, but if it would be beneficial I would surely spend the double.
