Doctors generally have a problem listening and if a drug company tells them there are no side effects to a drug they seem to accept it without question.
I had some unpleasant side effects to prednisone 4 years ago. They just denied it was the cause and told me to stay on it. I stopped it and within a week the immediate side effects were gone. I've never touched a doctor prescribed medicine since
