Are you around any second hand smoke? That contributes to bone loss.
Do you own a juicer? If so, I would tell you to begin juicing kale, spinach, etc---vegetables very high in calcium and drinking the juice would then give you maximum benefits. The weight bearing exercise is excellent advice, too. But just walking is good, too.
A Dr. would want you to take Fosomax. It's not a hormone, but a pill you take once a week to save future bone loss and I believe it alos helps rebuild bone.
