Re: Low white blood cell count?
During all this years of "normal" blood & other tests I always had a little low neutrophils recount (between the minimum and a little low) and a little high lymphocyte recount (between the max and a little high)
The whole WBC sometimes in normal values sometimes a little low.
Neutrophils:
Neutrophils are the most common type of white blood cell, comprising about 50-70% of all white blood cells. They are phagocytic, meaning that they can ingest other cells, though they do not survive the act. Neutrophils are the first immune cells to arrive at a site of infection, through a process known as chemotaxis.
Lymphocytes:
Lymphocytes are a type of white blood cell, which are an important part of the immune system. Lymphocytes can defend the body against infection because they can distinguish the body’s own cells from foreign ones. Once they recognize foreign material in the body, they produce chemicals to destroy that material.
Maybe we could compare lab tests restuls to see if we have something in common...
