Where's the beef, er, chicken?

Actually, what people make at home is usually anywhere from 85 to 95 percent ionic and the rest colloidal silver, unless you use the higher voltage Silver Bullet, which is estimated to produce about 25 to 30 percent colloidal silver.  That is why it has a color similar to the true colloidal silver commercial products and is very likely why one of my Yahoo group members reported that it was more effective than the silver solution she made with one of the popular home generators.

But your point is well taken.  What people make at home and most of the commercial silver solutions that are referred to as colloidal silver are actually pretty much ionic silver.  Calling them colloidal silver is akin to Campbell's calling their soup Chicken and Noodle.  Open up a can and see how much chicken you get!
