Victim Consciousness and Separation

For a healthy society to function optimally and flourish it must allow freedom of choice for belief systems with one caveat. These beliefs must not impinge on another's freedom. This is why true separation from church and state is necessary.

I will defend your right to be a christian even though it is not a belief system I choose for myself (although I may perhaps share some of the tenants.

Does this make me anti christian or pro freedom of choice? It may seem that I am anti christian by those who are christians and are sensitive from critically exploring their belief system, however I explore all belief systems in the same manner. If I am anti anything then, I am anti closed mindedness.

People who are sensitive to having their belief system scrutinized will often filter their lives through a a state of victim consciousness. In terms of christianity it goes with the meme. It is part of the doctrine to be a victim so then we see this repeated throughout the flock.

As a side note there is no need to free yourself through anything other than your own beliefs. No one needs christ to do anything for them. That is separation.

You can replace christ with any other symbol that remains as an outside (or faux inside) force whether it be a talisman, a crystal, an herb, buddha, a guru, a doctor, or jesus. It is all the same in how it fractures one's direct power and creates a filter with the parameters that go with that filter.
