If the one you have is mustard-yellow, cost you around $586 and looks like this one

and you can program any frequency from 1Hz to 1mHz with a keyboard, you have a versatile, expensive Frequency generator.

If your "Dr Clark VariGamma" has a blue sticker with a picture of Dr Clark, has a dial with frequencies from 10Hz to 100kHz, cost you around $189.00 (many of them came from eBay)and plugs into the 110/220V line :
