1. Liver flukes can look like rolled tomato skins or rasins.
2. Tapeworm segments can look like rice grains, or seeds, or corn kernal or peanuts.
3. Roundworms get sort of broken down on their way out and look kinda like spaghetti strands.
Plus - bacteria, viruses and fungi are all also considered parasitic - and they are microscopic.
Some folks won't know they have parasites until they have a bad bout of diarrhea and might flush one out - and happen to see it before they flush the toilet.
Most people simply wipe and flush without ever looking at their stool.
