When we talk of alternative health care, we quite often focus on the herbs, oils and other modalities which cleanse and nourish the physical elements of the body. Although these are extremely important and necessary, we often don't focus enough on the spiritual, mental and emotional aspects. When my daughter and I were putting together the video of Kaylee's life for her funeral, we came across an interesting contrast which we had never paid attention to before. (Unfortunately, I do not know how to add more than one picture to a post so I cannot put them side by side, but I will show them to you in two different posts) On Kaylee's birth certificate, she was named Vekka Niles. This is a picture of Vekka when my son found her. The despair and hopelessness is obvious on her face.
When we came across this picture, my daughter made the comment that she barely recognized this child as Kaylee.
