Tips from the Apothecary:

Anytime you are making tinctures it is best to use herbs in the "cut & sifted" (aka C/S) form whenever possible.

When using a powder to make a tincture you are basically making mud. And when pressing out your tincture, after it has had its proper "brewing time", you will more than likely get silt from the powder/mud into your finished tincture regardless of how fine your filter mesh is.

Just something to consider when making tinctures.
