Re: scanned in bed

It's astounding how after accounts such as these, regular people just seemingly "carry on" regardless! In the morning put a comb through their hair tie up their tie and walk out through the door as if the day was still an ordinary one...but maybe with that "vague feeling" pushed aside or placed on the back burner...and just carry on!

Yes indeed...how does one go back to sleep!! But people, as i have done are able to when incredulously, a simple dinner menu planned for an occasion...can keep me up all night restless reaching out for cocoa or a swift shot of the medicinal whiskey!?

How the ability of the mind to keep such bizarre true realities at bay so in order to function..still amazes me....also how peoples sleep and wakefull states seem to be altered.. Of note, normally you are aware of your wifes forays when on this occaision you were "knocked" out and weren't. From personal experience two of my wakefull states felt so very heavy and strange despite being "aware" and making reality checks all the same. On both these occaisions the same odd thing happened..and despite this i was able to return to bed and go to sleep.!!
Was your wifes wakfeullness and awareness still "real" yet feel a little out of the ordinary than usual, i wonder?

My background was in ecology...which i guess now extends to further afield ...it's still in the arena of rationality...we are a bit like a caveman being faced for the first time with a coffee expressomachine!
