Re: 6 Months Post Mirena...Side effects ever go away for good?

I just happened to come on today. I am 1 1/2 yrs post Mirena and yes, my symptoms have gone away. I'd say my symptoms were not terribly severe compared to some I have seen here -- I had a fairly major weight gain and SEVERE and prolonged PMS -- which, I'm happy to tell my gynecologist who promised NO CHANGE after removal -- has become just the plain old PMS of a few days post-removal. Hang in there. . .it slowly gets back to normal.
