Re: Group B Strep?!

My sister has group B strep (only with her third baby born a couple months ago) and said it was no big deal: just Antibiotics at delivery or something. Maybe try probiotics after to help counteract the drugs?

Bass 81, my cousin has had repeated uti's her whole life. Some time ago, she started on D-Mannose (2 capsules a day) and hasn't had one since. My 3 yr.old daughter had a uti in January (her first one), took Septra for it, and then developed another one a week later. They put her on Augmentin and said she would need to see a pediatric urologist if she had another one (I was thoroughly freaked out). I've been giving her a capsule of Mannose each day (I pour the Sugar powder into her milk), and so far she's been okay for about 2 months. Every week we get behind us is a sign she's doing better. Just a thought!
