Sin and illness
This is my first time on this forum and it is intersting that a quick glance most everybody looks upon health issues from the phsyical, this herb or diet for this or that.
What good does it do to be Christian and fall into the same assumptions as non-belivers?
Didn't Jesus say to sin no more or something worse will come? Didn't Jesus ask which is easier, to forgive sin or heal the sick? Didn't Moses say that to the 3rd or 4th generation the children will suffer for the sins of the fathers?
In my practice as a healer, I find certain sins cause certain illnesses. The sin of resentment causes gall bladder problems. The sin of judgement and criticism causes others and self to feel devalued, which leads to arthritis, osteoporosis and diseases of the bones, tendons and joints.
The fear that the LORD will not care for you, loss of faith can cause liver disease and even cancer.
Inablity to forgive can cause many digestive system illnesses and even cancer.
Guilt causes illness too if we don't quickly seek repentance. This is where confession and restitution is essential for yourself and those you have wronged.
Hatred and anger can cause back problems.
And lying to yourself can bring about physical and mental illness. When you lie to yourself, you are having an argument with reality; this conflict between what is and what you want is unhealthy. This is what is meant by the truth shall set you free.
But to complicate things further, mental disoders, habitual sins, and even autism are most often caused by sins of the fathers. To uncover this sin you shall be set free and it will not affect your descendants.
Fear of death can bring about lung cancer.
Christians that trust in the LORD and live clean righteous lives need not fear death.
