Re: Coleus Forskohlii, allergies, blood pressure

Hv,
I see you posted in-depth info on Coleus Forskohlii above. Since my original post and before your answer I tried some at 50 mg. standardized to 18% forskolin (9%) - just one made a difference in my scalp, and also I could feel the slightest change in blood pressure, actually a nice calming effect. I have been working on adrenals for about a year with some of your suggestions - Amla, bitters, licorice root, etc. Also on board DE, chickweed, zinc, sarsaparilla, B-12.

I don't know at what point the adrenals may be better functioning, but I can say I no longer have extreme thyroid symptoms, body temp has stabilized, no longer have severe digestive issue, no longer have debilitating fatigue.

I have not had a blood pressure reading in some months, but the last one was 110/78 - I say 90/60 for lack of recent reading - once about a year ago it was 88/50. The danger of Coleus F. lowering my blood pressure too much may be less at this point after working on adrenals for awhile?

My experiment so far with one capsule per 24 hours has calmed my itchy scalp, lessened the inflamed, lumpy feeling. The potential for weight loss however, would not be welcomed as I weigh only 114. I just find it interesting that this small amount of Coleus forskohlii in a few short hours impacted the scalp issue in a way that NOTHING else has for over 4 years.

What say you?

Thank you ~
