Welll...I have found something that I think is worth sharing with others. After much debate and deliberation and skepticism I decided that I'd give it a shot and yes your right, it is a method of memorizing large amounts of data in a much more retainable fashion: Its called GMS systems (FINALLY A SYSTEM OF MEMORIZATION AND NOT JUST RANDOM MNEMOICS!) and the website is this: http://www.pmemory.com/home.
Before I began I downloaded the their free manual to see what what the entire system was built around and well the manual is quite lengthy and goes into deep theory behind the GMS systems foundations. The very first lesson showed me that I could memorize the exact material they promised me. I memorized 4 lists of 25 items and I could recite them forwards and backwards!!! It made me ecstatic! If I could do that on the 1st lesson, then I just wonder what I can do on subsequent lessons :) !
