Doesn't Nasa say that the near-approach or 'hitting' of comets upon the sun have nothing in common with CME's? (Forgive me if I'm wrong on that...)

I remember hearing the words coincidental - Well, if this doesn't prove that wrong, nothing will.

Reminds me of videos of sperm hitting the egg - with the ensuing "explosion" of the miracle of creation.
