Re: Vitiligo

Vitiligo is a depigmentation skin disease. This can be treated, but you will need to find a cutting-edge scientist/doctor to help - this will be half the battle.

You can try the alternative medicine route, you will spend a lot of money and yet not cure this condition, they will be unable to explain what they are seeing. I support many alternative healing modalities {like humaworm, liver flushes}, and have studied this field for years.

Even the best conventional medical scientists/dermatologists will not be able to explain the aetiology of what they are seeing.

Recent research as of the early 2000's, has indirectly shed light on the molecular biology of vitiligo - which involves VDR nuclear receptor dysfunction, caused by intraphagocytic infection by CWD forms.

The patient will have other symptoms, such as GI disturbances, fatigue, low mood, dry eye and photosensitivity {sensitive eyes to light}. If not now, then she will develop these conditions later in life, along with some form of autoimmune disease.

Foods high or fortified with vitamin D exacerbate this condition by antagonizing the VDR receptor and effectively switching off the innate immune system, by suppressing the transcription of 913genes, AMP's, hormones {hence hormone imbalances = hypo/hyperthyroidism for example}, including loci involved in melanin synthesis, hence the white patches or depigmentation.

Vitiligo is hereditary, yet not genetic, but epigenetic, having a microbial cause coupled with nuclear VDR dysfunction, latter autoimmune disease comorbidity may ensue as a result of such cellular- and immunopathology.

Vitiligo has been a problem in my family lineage, generations of my family have avoided this condition through dietary intervention, by avoiding food triggers, we have found over the last few centuries that consumption of milk with the meat of certain fish species, can trigger the disease - both are high in vitamin D.

All foods that contain vitamin D must be avoided religiously, in order to control this condition, whether you will take this advice, despite it being very unconventional, even in natural healing circles, is at your discretion.

Foods to avoid: egg yolks {egg whites are ok}, mushrooms, milk, fortified cereals with vitamin D, anything containing Vitamin D, coffee {chlorogenic acid is a VDR antagonist, this chemical is also in apples/pears/fruit so limit these, peel the skin especially}, mushrooms, seafood, supplements {all supplements contain Vit. D, or trace amounts, despite the label}, avoid UVA/UVB/IR/blue light - NoIR medical sunglasses are required, sun avoidance {zinc oxide based sun tan lotion works, others do not}, avoid IR suanas, tanning salons avoid etc.

To palliatively control this condition, the patient should be put on a low-carb diet, look into the Specific Carbohydrate Diet {Dr. Valantine MD}, or Professor Peskin's research.

Later pulsed low-dose lipid soluble bacteriostatic antibiotic therapy, with a sartan-based VDR agonist drug, will cure this condition although this will take years to achieve. {Marshall et. al.}

Humaworm or any natural antibiotic will not work, due to the fact their pharmacological action has not been studied, there is no evidence any of these herbs are lipid-soluble or able to pass the cellular phospolipid bilayer at therapeutic doses, to the contrary they may actually be immunosuppressive in conditions involving VDR dysfunction.

Humaworm is great at removing parasites along the gastrointestinal tract {a 9m tube, not really within the body per se}, based on my experience, I am not convinced of its efficacy at removing pathogens within the body.
