I just read, can't remember source -- I'll have to hunt for it. Anyway, the report was that the CDC tested the vitamin D levels of pediatric patients who succumbed to the flu this season and compared it to patients who recovered and guess what??? Levels for the ones who recovered were higher than the ones who died from it. The ones who died from the flu were found very low levels of vitamin D.
I'll try to find the source and repost. It's good that the CDC is finally, maybe, picking up the ball.
