There are several reasons to be considered while dealing with depression. You have got wonderful help by the others, who already answered your posting. Me too, I want to contribute with what I know.

Our ancestors had very much Omega 3 in their diet. We people of today have virtually none (except of those people who eat fish or rare birds like me, who take their flax- or hemp-oil daily). The balance of omega 3 and omega 6 fatty acids is very important for our wellbeing.
Don't just fix yourself on one method to cure your depression, but consider different paths. You
Depression might wll be the reulst of several mistakes concerning eeating habits, drug intake and much more. Mistakes, that are part of the normal life of modern man and that we only learn to consider as mistakes through illness. The same happened to me several years ago. Today I am healthy and a rare bird concerning my eating habits and my way of thinking.
Anyway. Each one doing liver-flushes is a rare bird, so you have already started into the rigth direction........ (I did flush no 12 this weekend).
