The Nobel Virtue of Loyalty

Loyalty is the unwavering commitment to the well-being of those considered worthy of it and being true to yourself. Often times in our lives we extend loyalty to individuals who are not worthy of this level of dedication from us. It is imperative to our own personal well-being that we ensure the people we are willing to devote our loyalty to are, in deed, deserving of it.

Equally importantly to this is the fact that we must maintain loyalty to ourselves. Allowing others to dictate what we think or believe, or how we act is a sure fire way to self-destruct. We are born creative beings with the ability to believe, think and create for ourselves all the things we desire in our lives. Staying true to ourselves and remaining loyally committed to who we are is a critical element to our success since when we establish to others our ability to remain faithful to our obligations and commitments they come to depend and rely on us in accomplishing even greater tasks.
