Re: anterior open bite after splints

I'm in the same boat. I had some TMJ issues a year ago, which seemed to resolve themselves within a week. But the dentist told me to wear a splint, and after 9 months I have an anterior open bite. It seems to me that only my wisdom teeth are touching.

I'm going to a TMJ specialist, who I am guessing will suggest removal of wisdom teeth. But I don't know if that will be enough to fix the open bite. Tweet
