Probably a diet extremely in cholesterol and cholic acid. I found the following on the lithogenic diets used to induce Gallstones in mice:

As you can see, their lithogenic ("gallstone inducing") diet had the exact opposite effect on HMG-CoA and 7 alpha-hydroxylase compared to the garlic/onion enriched diets (anti-lithogenic diets). Which makes a lot of sense, of course. Tweet
