You are telling me what "Jesus was saying" instead of what he said. You have presented a very common defense of your belief system and in the process are denying a literal interpretation of the bible.

Each and every human on the planet is a child of God, just as Jesus is.  It's also plainly stated in the first creation of humans in Genesis.  Jesus said it in the passage I quoted and he derided those who were going to stone him with the added emphasis "the law cannot be broken" because they also claimed a literal interpretation.  It is in other places as well.

We are each an individual spirit - we are not our body.  God created us as spirit.
