My response to #1 was to drink and drug away the inherent fear,shame,guilt inside the belief system and then -

found #2 A.A. - the only group I have ever joined - and by then needed to be SAVED from myself and self destructive tendencies manifested in response to #1 and for a time was comfortable there with release of fear and all the good comraderie stuff - certain for a while that I need look no further as per #3, but -

my basic nature is not follower, and the very intuition squelched by alcohol and drugs came alive once again and THIS I have come to follow with great willingness, and eventually I was spirited away ...
