wrist injury

I've already asked this in other forums but I wanted another opinion. I broke my distal radius in my wrist after falling onto my outstretched hand over 3 years ago. I had it in a cast for a couple months but it still causes pain whenever I put weight on my hand when it's outstretched. I saw a wrist specialist who said it healed out of alignment and had to be rebroken. I'm still waiting to hear back if this requires any pins or metals to hold it in place cause I have skin allergies and I don't want any metal permanently in my body. Do you think bf&c internally or externally or something else would help to realign it or should I have it rebroken, if the doctor doesn't use any metals, and then take bf&c to help it heal faster? Thanks.
