Re: Protozoa

I get a newsletter from a b. hominis organization, they have repeatedly talked about mutations of the b. hominis and I think other protozoa. This could explain at least part of the problem with diagnosis or detection. I would like to know why they cannot do a simple immunoglobin test to see if you have higher levels at least this would point out what the culprits may be. Somehow we are still in the dark ages of medicine in which we still believe that we live in a sterile world. Of course this hearkens back to the 1950's with the advent of the 'new age' in medicine that thought pharmaceuticals would cure all the diseases.

What is interesting is the research in cancer etiology in which they are finding more and more pathogenic involvement with cancer formation such as the papiloma virus with cervical cancer etc etc.
