Hey ladies...So I am visiting the ladies who work in the office at my obgyn. I decided to ask the Dr. if she can order a test to check for silicone. She said I have to be refered to a specialist or something. I started to talk to her about my Mirena symptoms and how I have been. I haven't seen her since removal. She basically shot down any notion that Mirena was the cause of any of my symptoms. She said I should have been better immediately upon removal, said it is localized not systemic. It must be coincidence that I have all of these problems. There must be something else wrong with me. I mentioned how one gal on here had her silicone levels come back really high and she replied that it's impossible the mirena is coated in plastic or some BS. I will not be using her again. She said it was a 1 in a million that it is due to mirena. Well, that is still a possibility. To not even concider it is ignorant on her part. I forgot to mention how the hormone is found in breast milk. Get this..She also said my hormones should of been balanced after 2 weeks, a month at the most. That I should get a cat scan for the tingling, even though I mentioned it has gotten much better since removal. Funny, how at the cardiologist they mentioned it taking up to a year for our systems to balance themselves out. I need to get my hands on some studies to send to her and prove her wrong!!!!! Not that she would listen!
