Cutler on why not to use EDTA for Lead when mercury toxic

so it would be good to know.
Can someone explain the Science or mechanism behind the danger of
using EDTA when there's mercury as well as lead to deal with?

This is not well understood, but it is clinically very apparent that using EDTA in the
presence of mercury vastly increases neurological symptoms.

There is some speculation based on work by Boyd Haley about how the EDTA mercury
complex may be selectively taken up into brain cells.
