Liver3 point causing unbearable pain in waist

Dear Curezone members,

While trying to give relief to a friend we pressed Liver3 on the right foot. It caused unbearable pain on the left side of the waist area, approximately at the level of the navel.

Can anything be infered from this connection? Can it mean the liver is too yang? Why pain on the left, when the liver is on the right side?

Liver3 on the left foot gave no such reaction.

Other symptoms: painful joints, headache.
