Your breath may be really rank. :) I use the Listerine breath strips even though technically we are probably not supposed to, but I have business meetings to attend regularly and need to be able to solve this problem on the fly.
It takes 3-4 days to get into ketosis if your diet was carby.
Don't ever break ketosis with a high-carb meal, especially with stuff like simple sugars or juice. You'll spike your insulin.
