A new recipe!
I have an update that I think qualifies for making another post about.
The taste is wonderful, and very raw! Even though I didn't use raw almonds (as I mostly don't, as it's hard to get here).
I used another raw nut that is very easy to un-shell: the peanut!
The recipe I used was:
-Peanuts.
-Sunflower seeds.
-Almonds.
-Walnuts.
Ordered by quantity used.
And then an organic banana of course, nothing more.
But tomorrow I may get my raw cacao!
Tomorrow I will be making the same milk, but with raw almonds and walnuts (I'm unsure whether the un-shelled walnuts I usually use are raw, so I will un-shell my own today). They do taste different, but I simply am hoping that they are all "mostly" raw.
Another recipe that is completelty raw and easy to make:
-Peanuts.
-Sunflower seeds.
That's it! Just remember to sort-out the bad seeds.
I use a blank piece of paper that I have folded in three of it's corners so that the seeds are kept on the paper, and can easily be poured into the container you are using to soak them in.
I have to try pumpkin seeds some time soon (I have avoided them because I don't really like them as they are anyways). Anyone want to help?
I think, and have felt that the more raw versions of my milk is detoxifying! Even though it's full of fat and protein!
And the fermented version is powerful, but I don't have much to say about it yet, as I haven't fermented it in a while.
I will try to get to preparing a bowl tomorrow with only peanuts and sunflower seeds, and a small banana (to prevent over-fermenting it).
Today I have really felt that the little non-raw food I use in my drink is no good. I hope that I can find the perfect living milk soon.
