I don't have Fodor's book yet, but it sounds like it's going to be the same premise as the one below...which, by the way, is my premise as well: that adaptive complexity does not come about by way of darwinian luck + selection, but instead by way of endogenous mechanisms, which all creatures have:
and of course, the crummy news for you evos is this: internal mechanisms are not the kinds of mechanisms that can turn a bacteria-like creature into a human over time. Evos NEED chance for that....but chance is nowhere to be found in the realm of reality.
