Yes, because although they are called "sugar alcohols", they are metabolised by a different pathway in the liver.

Antabuse blocks Aldehyde dehydrogenase subtype 2 (ALDH2) which is used by the liver to get rid of acetaldehyde. This builds up, and makes you feel sick.

Sugar alcohols are metabolised into glucose through a different pathway, and are not effected by this.
