clay packs down under (hemorroids) / pros? cons?

Hi all,
I have been using clay internally with great sucewss, and also externally in the face for beauty purposes, and in limbs for muscle pain. Now I am faced with a new challenge: hemorroids. Well, not yet fully blown out, but I have had them a few times, and now it feel like if they are trying to get out again. Somehow clay crossed my mind when searching for a solution. I am very tempted to try it, as I belive it will do the job as I am a great beliver in clay, but on the other hand it sounds a little bit too adventurous to get the green light without doing a little bit of research, as it is a delicated part of the body. Has anyone tried it and if so, could they offer pre and post treatment advice. My initial though are apply some oil after to help moisturize again the area in case it gets too dry. Or would you completely discourage of going for it and then why?
