Do I have appendicitis?

14 days ago, I got an ache originating in the lower right abdomen where the appendix lies. It would ache in waves and radiate upward to my stomach, then after a few hours it would go away. These aches were not severe; just felt like I ate something bad. After a few days, the aches occured once or twice in a day and the tenderness still remained in that area. On Day 5, I experienced a mild fever at night. Day 8, Day 9, and Day 10 as well but it wasn't continuous; I would feel fine upon awakening, and the latter half of the day feel crummy. Feeling fatigued through all this and sleeping longer than usual. Sweating in my sleep even though I'm cold.

So basically:
Mild fever - 4 occurances
Fatigue
Headache

And it all precipitated with this aching in the appendix region that comes and goes.

My bowels are moving fine, urine is clear, no vomiting. Slight decrease in appetite but I'll get hunger pangs if I hold out long enough.

It's been two weeks now - does this sound like appendicitis? And if not, what would it be? Sounds like my body is fighting an infection, but from what? Tweet
