Fungemia (also known as Candidemia, Candedemia, and Invasive Candidiasis) is the presence of fungi or yeasts in the blood.

ok..so how can you have candida in the blood
WITHOUT having fungemia?
*******
..and i believe that is my case..
sprouting fungus everywhere..
skin blisters started 12 years ago.. a few at a time..
..a curiosity..over the years..
these days..the blisters all sprout fungus.
SURPRISE!
fungal threads in skin, hair, urine..stools..
"something" in blood..doc insists that the blood
crittes are "artifacts"..but i see them every freaking
time i do a blood check with the microscope..
..my operating theory at the moment is that i had
invasive candida back in 1998..it's just been percolating
quietly..until recently..
when i started fighting back with herbal antifungals.
and all heck broke loose.
..if fungal hairs are being urinated..the kidneys
are no doubt chia pets by now..
they got infected via blood...
how to clear from blood?..damn if i know.
pointless scraping fungus from skin..more keep drilling
up from capillaries/hair follicles.
..all manner of herbal warfare being used..
non of the over the counter topical antifungals work..
[three differenct azole based antifungals..]
biopsy done a few weeks ago on arm "numerous mycelia..
stain test negative"
ok..so stain test got hosed..[did i arrive at dermatologist
office with skin ..as usual ..covered in antifungal goo?
probably..did that goo jam up the stain test? *shrug*
nevertheless..the pathology report did mention the
"numerous mycelia in the control sample".
all of which went right over the Nurse Practitioner that
was assigned to me..she only gets as far as "stain test
for fungus negative"
"see?..there is no fungus involved..then hands me a page
of about 20 Psychiatrists phone numbers/addresses.
..help like this i dont need.
*********gotta go back to the House of the Derm docs and
INSIST on talking with a "full bird MD..not his RN gophers!!]
grrrrrr.
