Re: Kid8

I do not think you can use a moisturizer with acidophilus because it will set you back from progress. Your lips get soggy when you apply a moisturizer, but you need to keep them dry to form scab. One of the worst moisturizers you can use while on acidophilus is calendula since it is a really good moisturizer it makes lips extra soggy. I only used she butter on lower lip at night, but my lips were not moving around and seemed to dry at night so moisturizer was okay on lower lip.

Perhaps your lips can still continue the healing process just swishing the acidophilus in your mouth or not applying it on lip anymore. It does not dry out your lip if you put it on raw, triangular area on upper lip but you need to wipe off with water any you may get on your lower lip.

I did not like the drying aspect of acidophilus, but I stuck with it and my lips got healed. Whenever I applied any moisturizer or lipstick, my lips got mushy and didn't form dry scabs so it delayed healing process one day. I would suggest avoiding moisturizers for at least a month. After your lips look healed, there are still hidden flakes that are healing and show up as mush with heavy moisturizers so that is why I say wait a month.
