Mung beans sprouts


I tried to sprout mung beans
I rinsed them twice a day for 5 days and now I have my sprouts

BUT

most of the green rinds are still attacched to the sprouts
the sprouts have a flour texture and are chewy raw
they're kind of small but I can't sprout them for longer as they were already going bad at the tip of the sprout tail (turning reddish)

overall they're not as soft, watery and easy to eat raw and plain like the big sprouts I buy at the supermarket in the trasparent plastic containers

Any thought?
