MSG sensitive (or not) populations

Thanks for the good words!

I seriously doubt the idea that Asians or others are sensitive or not to MSG.
I have understood the role of Vit K in Mono-Sodium-Glutamat (Natrium Glutamat) sensitivity, I could say at first hand, because I + husband suffered from it intensely to the point of not being able to lead a normal life for years.

In the heart of Asia, in the place which is Mono-Sodium-Glutamat (Natrium Glutamat) mad, I have found the answer.
Impossible to take Mono-Sodium-Glutamat (Natrium Glutamat) and go on more or less healthy (for a long time) if you do not eat what they eat. When they stop eating enough of their traditional food, AND take too much MSG, they are just as sick.

- LOADS of Iodine in sea weeds mainly was my first find, and Iodine supplementation did a lot to bring us back to health, but was not sufficient.

- plates full of dark green cruciferous vegetables (plenty of K1)
- sea weeds have lots of Vit K1 as well as iodine
- Nuoc Nam, Nam Pla, etc which is putrefied fish sauce, the source of pharmaceutical Vit K2 as MK-4.
- Fish eggs, and indeed all raw yolks (full of MK-4 too, which points to a role of Vit K2 in stem cell development - elixir of live is caviar, I knew that!), liver, and all kinds of offal
- and sun exposure if you eat all that.

In Europe it used to be goosefat and foie gras, and I gave some time ago a very good recipe for monk fish liver pate.

For us Vit K (as much as we can by natural means) and avoidance of MSG + Iodine has been our salvation.
With my pendulum I test the stuff I buy in the supermarket, and at the end of the day I ask : did I eat enough vit K today (vit D, calcium). Did I eat any MSG today? Did I drink any MSG today?
So far so good, I think we are totally cured of "Lyme" symptoms, blood tests are fine and immunity too (which was not OK even after iodine).

It looks as though there is not enough proper food around for everybody. Certainly there isn't if people are hell bent on destroying the value of their food by adding to it stuff that destroys its nutritional contents.

Be well and enjoy your food!
