My "Fibromyalgia" is actually Lyme Disease
I spent a couple of years and several doctors, all who told me that I had fibromyalgia.
The trouble with fibromyalgia is that no one seems to know what it is, what causes it, or how to treat it (at least in Western Medecine). "Fibromyalgia" is an exclusionary diagnosis, meaning they label you with it when they don't know what's really wrong.
My life was SAVED when I read a post on Curezone from someone who was diagnosed with fibromyalgia and finally after years of pain found out that she had Lyme. This post saved my life, because a couple of weeks ago I was tested and came up absolutley and without question positive for Lyme.
Fibromyalgia is an infectious disease. It is probably Lyme. I know this may sound crazy, but I have spent literally months researching this. The info is out there.
So if you are at your wit's end...I would highly recomend that you get tested for Lyme. Do this only through Bowen or Igenex as the other standard tests are completely unreliable and will most likely come up negative. Please also look into co-infections and mycoplasma.
Let me say this again: Fibromyalgia is AN INFECTIOUS DISEASE. As is CFS, multiple chemicla sensitivity, and probably Lupus, MS and a host of others too.
Blessings,
Alison
