Relax! A colonic administered by an experienced therapist can be a pleasant experience. I am a practitioner of colon hydrotherapy and over the years have treated many clients who were nervous their first time.

I explain that a colonic is a gentle internal bath, and on most occasions is not at all an uncomfortable experience.

However, if the person receiving the colonic is severely constipated or impacted at the time, then it can be somewhat difficult and uncomfortable.

In general however, most first-timers are surprised how easy the experience was. Many comment afterward that it was easier than the last time they had an enema.
