Hydrogen peroxide therapy for candida

Hi Dr Jeff, do you think that oral hydrogen peroxide therapy can be effective against candida overgrowth.
Also, I understand that candida is not transmitted or caused by sexual contact, but after unprotected sex with my partner, I always get some degree of irritation, and when she was having periods, the irritation seemed to be much worse in the week before her period started. What might be going on here?
