when did billy crystal get really, really old?

i got back from a company party last night and turned on leno just to see what was going on...and i couldn't believe my eyes. billy crystal, one of my all-time favorites, looked like my grandpa! where have i been? when did billy go from a basketball referee in "forget paris" (one of my top ten favorite movies) to this old guy? if any of you out there saw this and thought the same thing, comment, please. his neck was flapping at every syllable, washed out face, age spots...man, what happened?!!! looks tired, still funny, but looks....well...old.
