i always thought conan's playing with yourself, spanking the monkey bear just didn't fit tonight show audience.

from the outside looking in, brutally honest as you all know the mccainster to be...conan just isn't funny enough for prime time. he's too oddball, too perverted, his sketches and bits are "fraternity quality". johnny carson was rolling over in his grave every time the bear started itching his nuts and the vomiting kermit hacked up his inards. that's comedy central stuff. that's hbo material...not prime time nbc, mom and pop america. conan's bad ratings, not jay leno's bad ratings, put conan out of work. but don't feel too bad for conan...one of my favorite mottos in life: never ever feel sorry for a millionaire.
