NDE experiences in a new book

Caught just a bit of the Today show and they had a medical doctor, Jeffrey Long, who had an NDE and then began to research into them.  He has written a book "Evidence of the Afterlife" that refers to the thousands of NDEs that he has investigated.  He has found people who were blind from birth who had an NDE who related complete visual experiences.  He also investigated several children under five years old who had NDEs.  What he points out is the similarities of NDE and that they are not culturally influenced.  He has a Near Death Experience Research Foundation for gathering information about NDE and their web site is at http://www.nderf.org/.
