"Read the produce stickers on fruits and vegetables. Five-digit numbers beginning with an eight mean it is a GM food. Five-digit numbers beginning with a nine indicate organic foods. Conventionally produced foods have numbers containing four digits." -
reminds me of my "computer literacy" class, 1982, where we used texas instruments computers and EVERYTHING was done by using a key code- nothing intuitive about it..
8 for GM, 9 for organic, let me recite that a few hundred times and burn it into my brain. and, oh yeah, 4 digit number is conventional...
Great info Tony, thx.
BTW, Bragg's is the only prepared salad dressing I have found that contains olive oil... really good stuff.
