Re: A doctor's case for legal marijuana

To the best of my knowledge, Massachusetts doesn't have medical marijuana. Which is where I live. Was just out in Boulder over Christmas seeing my Bro and his family - and well I do know a bunch of people from high school/college who have settled out there. And well - getting a marijuana card out there is like breathing. Didn't know it till I got out there...... but I now have some friends who are "gravely" ill or in pain and who have cards. Hehe..............................

Some cities or towns in Colorado, the more conservative ones, are trying to pass ordances against it. I certainly favor the decriminalization of pot. Maybe it should be legal - just that it is nowhere near as benign as people make it out to be. At least for some people. Changing your consciousness screws around with neurotransmittors and hormones etc.... Well you guys certainly know my opinion on it. Was funny though - to see a couple of pothead school friends out in Boulder now with cards scoring pretty heavy duty shit......... And they certainly aren't suffering from serious diseases hehe. From talking to my brother, well this is spreading like wildfire out there.

My Dad is 72 and lives in Tucson and is convinced that Arizona will decriminalize it to help straighten out their budget....
