I've searched your forum on your views about juicing and you recommended using Vitamix instead of juice extraction. I believe that Vitamix is not available here in my country, but I own a pretty good juicer. Is juicing a complete waste of time or there's some good in it? Do you have any suggestions on how to maximize the nutrient extraction using a juicer?
The only thing I dislike about most juicers is that they remove the fibers from the juice. Fibers provide a number of benefits including slowing sugar absorption, acting as a bulk laxative, binding toxins and feeding the intestinal flora. This is why I like the Vita-Mix since it retains the fiber. If your juicer also retains the fiber then this would be fine. If it separates the fiber the fiber could be saved for cooking, such as making carrot cake or banana bread. But drinking juice without the fiber will still lead to quicker spikes in blood sugar that are not good for the body.
