Wow Ohfor! I've been going through old posts today and came across your post.
Taking a spray bottle of cayenne water with you to ward off the neighborhood dogs, GREAT!!! INGENIOUS in fact.
Our local librarian was mauled to death by neighborhood dogs she encountered on a daily basis while out taking her daily walk. Nobody knows why they attacked and killed her since they knew her and saw her everyday. I bet if she would have had cayenne spray, even if it was weak, she would have been able to save herself. It was very sad.
Keep that bottle of cayenne with you cause you never know how dogs will act.
